Jerry Fung
Jerry found his passion for real estate when he bought his first condominium in 2006 as primary residence, which he later converted into a rental. Since then, Jerry focused on value-add opportunities and expanded the portfolio in multifamily across New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Currently, Jerry focuses on acquisition and management oversight of the real estate portfolio in the tri-states region. He’s keen on growing the portfolio through joint ventures and other partnership structures.
Outside of real estate, Jerry has spent 20 years in fixed income derivatives valuation and financial risk management practices across multiple global financial institutions. Prior to becoming a full-time real estate investor, Jerry headed up the Financial Risk Management team at a global bank where he was responsible for overseeing risk taking activities from sales, trading, and treasury funding operations out of New York, London, and Frankfurt.
Jerry has a master’s degree in Risk Management from NYU Stern and a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Investments from CUNY Baruch College. In addition, Jerry holds the CFA charter and Financial Risk Manager designation. When Jerry’s not working, he enjoys spending time with family, jogging, and traveling.
